Photo booth in Weddings - An element of fun...!!!

Have you thought about doing a Photo booth at your wedding? It's definitely a great way to get your guests get up & mingle during your wedding & greatest way to give them an alternative who don't want to dance till the end.

If you're planning on doing a Photo booth in your wedding, think about the style of your wedding, how can you incorporate that into your booth? Perhaps, you want to add in something else that you love. For instance, if you love the mountains or the rich green & yellow fields, then the first thing that hits any Indians mind is the DDLJ backdrop. Another option for a backdrop that could go as a hit can be the couple's photo's & their records.

Infact, having a Photo booth at your reception creates quite phenomena at times. Imagine, lines of guests dressing up in varieties of props & costumes... Ahhh!!! what a sight! All of them, squeezing into the booth & smiling their best & laughing & staggering at each other. With so much buzz about these booths, we had to ask ourselves "Is the wedding photo booth just an element of craze? or is it going to stay in the minds of our guests?

The Booth
You can rent a photo booth or hire someone to set up a traditional booth at your reception, but you can also do it yourself. Your set up doesn't even need to look like a booth! Create one using simple backdrop against which your guests can at least click interesting snaps. Fabric, curtains, streamers, ribbons, decorated cardboards, wrapping papers, fringes or plywood works well with a photo booth. 

The Props
Using props in your photo booth can result in some hilarious or very sweet photos. Some props that works great includes hats, bows, scarves, glasses, masks, silly lips or googly glasses, jewellery, clown hat, funny noses, fans, frames, disco balls etc...

The Poses
Most of your guests will be creative enough to come up with their own set of poses...especially with the female category. But if not, there are ways to inspire some funny poses. You can create a list of poses from where they can pick & choose to act out in their photos...

Infact, it all just depends on the props you use!

Wedding Favors, meant to thank your guests for attending your wedding, choosing wedding favors is not an easy task. Guests may forget the décor at your wedding but wedding favors well chosen will be around to remind guests of your wedding for years to come.

The custom of wedding favors in weddings & private events originated from European countries, where the wealthy aristocrats of olden times gave wedding favors to acknowledge each guests for attending their ceremonies.
Wedding favors are the take-home reminder of your wedding, a small object that should bring back all the good memories of your wedding that your guests have experienced.

Wedding Food Palette

“Good Food, Good Life”. Every wedding guest secretly hopes for amazing food. Make your wedding meals memorable and have your guests licking their lips. A little menu planning can easily woo your guests.

Start looking for your caterer at the same time as you are looking at venues for your wedding ceremonies as these two aspects go hand in hand. Now a day’s most of the venues have a monopoly in terms of Catering & Decorators. All your five star hotels will manage catering themselves & the rest i.e., Clubs & Gymkhanas  open grounds, banqueting venues will have panel of caterers for you to choose.

In today’s time, caterers have a huge spread of buffet to offer to you.

Breakfast – it’s for an intimate gathering as this is an early event. In fact, it may even be early for late-sleeping to attend. This is an inexpensive option. Now a day guests look at lighter and healthier breakfast options.

Lunch – Quality & simplicity describes this buffet spread. Lunch is still less expensive than dinner. Coolants are a must as lunch time is always warm.

Hi-tea – although this is a delightful spread yet does not provide a full meal for guests because this is a shorter reception

Dinner – the very nature of this buffet spread offers something for everyone. Now a days we have dinner food stations i.e., buffet tables scattered around the reception area, each with a different specialty of food, is a delight.  This style of spread provides a variety for wedding guests to sample foods from each station.  This is the most expensive wedding spread.

Another way to serve your wedding guests is the classic style wedding sit down dinner which gives you the opportunity to have waiters serve your guests. Everyone eats together at the same time; therefore this is a much more elegant option. This option is not at all cheap and guests will also have limited selection of food.

We believe one should first freeze on their ceremonial themes and then design the food menu. Designing the food spread as per the decided theme enhances the elegance of your ceremony & adds loads of fun to the same.

Creating different Food Bars have become a trend, as guests superbly enjoy the same. Also have food bars where the guests get to create their own dish. For e.g. – a fabulous fresh fruit juice bar, charming little biscuit bar with fresh honey, build your own pizza station, fancy grilled cheese bar, build your own taco bar etc…

Take care of small aspects of the buffet spread, like the serving style/ presentation of the food, introduce new food ideas/new dishes or same dishes in new sauces, switch your seating from theatre & round table style, add local & seasonal flavors to the food, make sure you add dishes in different sauces & colored gravy’s to your spread… all this definitely enhances the deliciousness of your wedding food spread..

Tranquiil World successfully executed the launch of GV Studio City by Accenture at JW Marriot on the 26th November 2010.

         GV Studio City , an initiative by GV Films is headed by Mr. M.V. Balagiri and was presented by management consultant giant Accenture to the esteemed guests including Shri Nirmal Deshmukh – Chief Collector Mumbai Suburban , Bollywood Producer Firoz A.Nadiadwala .

         The speaker for the evening included Mr. Krishna Giri, Managing Director for the H&P Group at Accenture Management Consulting in charge of Asia Pacific Region and Mr Dinu Poonacha who gave the guests an insight into turning GV Studio City into reality.

Food Hall  - Launch Event :

 Event Details: Food Hall is an amazingly vast food store; which was launch with a wine and cheese affair hosted by Film & TV personality Cyrus Sahukar. He was his usual witty self and entertained all those who were present. Firing questions at random people, Cyrus had everyone on their toes. Breaking through was the Acapella performance that added an element f surprise to the ongoing event. We have arranged there were three food islands, Oriental, Mediterranean & Mexican. The Oriental food island had a Sushi chef working live and greeting guests with freshly made sushi. The Mexican host, with his disarming charm drew the crowd to discover the real flavor of Mexico!

Attendance: Kishore Biyani, Vivek Biyani, Prahlad Kakkar and Madhukar Kamath amongst others.

       Tranquiil World’s Role

      Concept: It was a launch of multicuisine food grain store, so to surprise all the presented guest we thought of Acapella performance with 5 camera setup to all invitees

       Production: Designed stage, light, sound, invitation card, we had also set up three food island: Oriental, Mediterranean and Mexican.

       Hospitality: Handled RSVP, Host – Cyrus Sahukar.

Mohammed Rafi Academy Launch

Tranquiil World successfully organized and executed Mohammed Rafi Academy launch on 31st July, 2010 19:00 hrs onwards at Hotel Novotel , Juhu , Mumbai

The Evening saw many stars like Shammi Kapoor , who was also the Chief Guest of the evening , along with Rishi Kapoor , Jeetendra ,Rakesh Roshan , Dara Singh, Jackie Shroff Jagdeep, Sanjay khan , Javed Jaffrey , and many others gracing the occasion

There were a lot of eminent personalities present at the event from the music industry including Pyarelalji , Anandji , Ravindra Jain , Bappi Lahri , Udit Narayan , Adnan Sami amongst many others to celebrate the launch of Mohammed Rafi Academy .
The Launch of Mohammed Rafi Academy was done to perpetuate the memory of the legendary singer under the stewardship of his son, Mr. Shahid Rafi.

Mahurat of the film  POWER

Tranquiil World successfully executed Mahurat of Rajkumar Santoshi’s upcoming movie ‘POWER’, on 22nd September 2010 , 9:30 am onwards at Hotel J W Marriot , Juhu , Mumbai.

The Mahurat witnessed the film’s lead stars including Shri Amitabh Bachchan , Anil Kapoor,Sanjay Dutta and Ajay Devgn , Amisha Patel , Kangana Ranaut , Lekha Washington.
Shri GurudasKamatji along with Balagiriji , Shri Chandu patel , Bharat Shalr & A.A Nadidadwala lit the inauguration lamp .
