Countdown to look Gorgeous on your wedding day

We know you're crazy busy choosing wedding planner, invitations, florist, decorators & a honeymoon hot spot. but don't neglect one of the most important tasks of all, getting yourself looking and feeling great.

Wedding day is a onetime event in our lifetime and it is something we fantasize many a times. It’s that very special day where we want each and everything perfect, best and upto our mark. But this strives for perfection sometimes makes us feel stressed out and fearful about any mishaps that may happen on the d day. Don’t worry, because here are some simple bridal make up tips that you can follow on your special day.
Ø  It is always suitable to choose your make up type according to the dress and jewellery that you are going to wear. If they are heavy then, try to keep your make up light and vice-versa.

Ø  Take a look at your clothes and jewellery. Consult with your makeup artist beforehand about the looks which will go with the dress. Select the one which you want to do on the day. Do not go in for any last minute changes.
Ø  If your wedding is planned in winter season, then go for warmer and deeper shades, and if it is a spring/summer wedding, then go for bright and pastel shades.
Ø  Consider the time of the wedding whether it’s day or night, it’s a very important factor to keep in mind when it comes bridal makeup. If you have the ceremonies in the day time, then keep makeup minimal and opt for a more natural look. If you are going for night time wedding, keep the makeup heavy and add more colors.

Ø  To keep your lipstick/ lip color from staining your lips, put a finger in your mouth and close your lips. Pull out the finger; this will take out all excess lip color.

Ø  Eye makeup can define how natural or dramatic your look is. Lining the tightline with a black pencil liner will make your eyelashes look naturally fuller. Lining your waterline with a nude pencil liner will make your eyes look naturally brighter. Don’t forget to  to synchronize your eye make up with lip make up.

Ø  It is advisable to use pigmented cream foundation in yellow tones and layer it with powder foundation to make the skin look smoother and beautiful when you are photographed.

Ø  Don’t forget to apply foundation on areas like neck, ears and chest. Otherwise, you will seem to have a separately painted face.

Ø  Keep a compact and blotting paper handy as you can touch up your makeup.

Remember the entire ceremony captured in a video and photographs, your makeup is an integral part of getting you ready for the ceremony. After all, you are going to be the center of attraction and hence you should stand out at the ceremony.
